Morning Sue, ha ha no it's actually in quite good condition, I wouldn't have bothered decorating if it was that bad! There's just what looks like a burn hole at one side that can't be covered up and 2 cut outs on the other side where an old radiator had been removed that also can't be hidden. The colour matches the room but isn't what I would pick, it would just be nice to be able to get a new one to finish the room off. As it happens, I've just been informed that we're getting some heating efficiency upgrades, so the radiator may be changed again (fingers crossed!) so it's just as well I can't re-carpet yet, I might have regretted it! I did get out for a walk yesterday, although it was a damp and dreary day. I've got a joiner coming this morning to fix a window so not sure if I'll be able to get to the park today.
