When I lived at home 6.00 was the normal time for tea or supper as we called it so that doesn't seem late to me. Here as most people don't get home from work until after 6 supper is around 7.. when I babysat kiddies full time I would make their supper around 5.
Now I eat when I can, it's 7.30 already!
It's 2 degrees and rain/snow miv coming down.
Had a real lazy day. Hope to do same tomorrow
