I have never seen a dog that dislikes stepping in poo as much as Rylee does. I threw the ball/rope for him and we were playing well. Then I threw it to a new spot in the yard and Rylee did this hop/jump and quick step around  the ball and returned to me without it - his ears pointing backwards. I knew he had seen/stepped in poo. I went out to the yard with the tools to pick up and - there was no poo - it was leaves from the Maple tree in our yard - they were brown and curled sort of looking like poo. I raked around some of the leaves looking for the offending item but to no avail. "Rylee," I said "there's nothing here" - he sat up on the pool deck and watched me with suspicion. He flatly refused to venture out on the lawn again. It's going to be a long Fall. Happy Thursday.
