It’s been a busy day.  First I drove Dave to Nicky’s house.  Then I went to the hairdresser.  Home for a coffee and then off to the dentist for a scale and polish.  After that I went back to keep Dave company at Nicky’s- the plumbers were busy with the boiler and her cottage is packed out with new kitchen cupboard carcasses that were delivered this morning.  Oh what fun.  I hope you’ve had a good day.  We were up to 18 degrees this afternoon xx

a sunny afternoon hello, Lizzy, and a splash! I hope you're having a lovely day, and that there were sausage rolls for you, too. (been ages since I've had any, but I do like them.) I slept in today; the last few busy days caught up with me. I think today will be a stay home, and rest day. take care! xx

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven
that's what my Grandpa told me.
He said Angels tossed them down
Oh, how I loved that story!

He said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of your frown.

So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.
