Happy Saturday! Pretty day again! Just putzed around the house and did a little of this and that. Almost have the book nook done, then I'll start on a miniature for the Christmas market here. Have a few things to put together for that. Still working on my Diamond art too. We went down to the store to drop off a few things and I had to find a gift for someone. Tomorrow morning I get to start my dog (Bunny, duck, and chicken) sitting duties :) Have a great night!   

I'm sure you'll do good with the IV. All those things seem so scary at first but get better the more you do them. I'm pretty comfortable with needles after doing through the diabetes with our Sophie.
That air thing though has always made me nervous- I remember when my grandma was in the hospital there was an alarm though would go off if there was air but it just made me nervous.
I hope it makes him feel better and perks him up some!

Starved Rock is a state park about 20 minutes from here with some really pretty trails. It's located near the Illinois River so there are bluff trails, river trails, and water falls. It get over run with people form Chicago and the burbs on the weekends though.  It got his name because of two Native american tribes that were fighting and they say that one tribe surrounded the others that were up on the bluffs and they starved- so sad story but a beautiful place!

Well even though you don't get to have Turkey I hope you have a Happy THanksgiving!  If it's the same as it is here, it's a time to just be thankful for all the people and things in our life so the Turkey meal is just an added bonus :)
