Hello Dianne, your an asset to the area with your care about books. Even looking for charitable outlets for some books. Must admit I don't like to see books thrown away. I spent some time sorting out old phones & watches. Phones are a problem because you don't want them to get in the wrong hands. I have six of them. Checking for pictures I would like to save. Bit like old L/tops. I've got four out of service. Yes my kids do understand where dementia goes & they are so worried. I had this with my mum who couldn't get about on her own. We lived in a house opposite hers so it was easy for me to attend her. Also had help from the social services. They used to see to her breakfast & put her to bed. As for me it has made me a more patient person & I think it could be me. Perhaps it is & I don't realise it. lol. Such is life. As I say to younger peeps do what you want to do now & don't plan to far ahead. Trouble is peeps are living longer these days..Found it hard to get out of bed this morning. I don't like to get up as soon as I wake. I like to come to slowly. As I have said before, I'm not a morning person. It's grab a broom time now. Floors don't really need a sweep as the dog did that for me.. lol. Hope you are having a happy evening.
