Evening Dianne, sounds like you had an interesting day @ the Rotary Op Shop. I think peeps having a clear out has become a national sport hence even places here have a notice re donation overload. But you do have a friendly manner that appeals. So peeps will be nice to you. Saved taking your car load back home. You should have bought the Grand Father clock I'm sure it would fit in somewhere. lol. I've always wanted one but the nearest I've got is a mini one, about five feet tall which I inherited from my mums sister. It's a basic 1940's one. It stopped working when Sandra rushed to answer the phone knocked it over. It also broke the glass face. I got an estimate to fix it & they wanted £300. So being on the mean side (squeaky) it hasn't been sorted. But looks good. I'm finding Orbital enlightening more than anything. The life of a astronaut seems pretty boring once your up in space. Initially of course it's fascinating..So an astronauts life is not for me. How about you? The thing is I'm not very brave. I remember being on a prop plane & one engine stopped.
