Hi Dianne, I would never charge anyone for a dolls house as I looked on it as hobby. When I was making them there were numerous stores who sold dolls house furniture etc. Even one of our charity shops did. In fact I bought all my DH lights there. Now I think it's on line only. You would have loved the display boxes my now care home friend produced. In his home there was a whole wall banked with them.Lots of nursery rhyme themes. Since he has been in the home his wife has sold them all..They have no family to pass them on to.Talking of making furniture I remember my grand dad making miniature things out of cigar boxes for my sister to play with.He just used a pen knife. Another problem is I didn't make dolls house for young children. I have a problem when Little Ed is here. I have a DH standing on a unit just inside the front door & he thinks it's to play with. So when he is here I have to keep an eye open as he likes to sneak off & play with it in a destructive way. ..Housework over now it's coffee & the retire to my drive to fight the weeds.. Hello Dianne, those knitting machines seemed to have died out..Nice to hear that some children learn physical hobbies @ school. Nothing like that here any more..I've just looked on Amazon for knitting machines. They look nothing like the one we had. Now they are circular. Weird. I'm cleaning the front drive @ the moment, just having a coffee break.. Enjoy your knitting..
