Evening Dianne, this L/top appears to be running out of steam. Could be sign of end of life. I'll have to take it to my pc fixers & see what they think.. Funny you should mention bright light affecting your mums eyesight. I have the same with sunlight since my Cat. opps. Why have they stopped the eye injections? Perhaps your mum ought to try another Optician , nothing wrong with a second opinion..The eye exercise on last nights programme was just force the eyes( vision)  upwards & force roll the eye all around the socket.. Not a very good explanation, sorry. I'll have to Google it or even YouTube. Enjoy the rest of the day. Bit chilly here again so I'm in my winter woollies. Have fun...

Hi Dianne
I have read a lot of Bill Bryson too. I like his humour. The Palin book is volume three of his diaries while he was travelling the world. Very interesting. I am also reading Ralph's Party by Lisa Jewell.  I have read a lot of her books.
Storm Floris is on its way here. We shouldn't be too bad in the south. IOM will take some knocks though.
