Evening Dianne, your not a grumpy lady your a fair minded upright citizen. I have read those books you mention, on your advice of course. So if Changing my Mind comes your way have a a read. After yesterday when I felt rough today is the opposite, I feel Brand New. Hope it lasts. We have a big problem here with what is called Fly Tipping. It's got out of control. Some councils are having to fork out millions of pounds to clear it. Yes our library is council financed which is the reason I wont pay extra to order a book. Actually Borrow Box is still free & to be honest I quite enjoyed listening to that book yesterday. Perhaps because I'm lazy. lol. I've got two more Julian Barnes ordered on audio. Got to wait a while. They tell you when they are available. A well organised set up. Would be great if they had more books available on audio. Terry Stamp narrated some of the books. Morning Dianne, I should have realised the cat picture came from Diane. I really wasn't with it this morning. To be honest I haven't felt 100% all day., Bit of a stomach disturbance. I had the intension of doing jobs outside but couldn't muster the interest. Oh! I did make some beer. Is it finally decided for young Jean to go to the island & be with her dog..I did listen to the audio of Julian Barnes book or should I say booklet as it only took one hour twenty minutes to read it. I think you would enjoy it,it's called Changing my Mind. Has a lot to do with the English language. As you can tell things like split infinitives are all foreign to me. But I did enjoy it.From what I say you wouldn't think so but I found it entertaining. Only four days before the library start to charge for ordering a book. Would be a shame if I have to cancel Metroland, But I will. I refuse to pay when the library is called a free book service. Have a happy Sunday.

Morning sxplash-- Not a bad start to the day-- cloudy and 12 but if the forecast is right we could have snow flurries tomorrow. Going shopping with Kevin this morning so I  can stock up for when he is gone for 2 weeks hunting turkeys. Have a good day.

Evening Dianne, good that your mum is doing well. If she goes to your brothers would she be on her own a lot where as @ her village I imagine she would be happier But obviously you know best. Just me poking my nose in. Nuffin new there.lol. Can't beat being amongst friends. Do you take much notice of ''the steps'' on your watch? I've just ordered & already got a audio book for two reasons. Firstly set set my ear phones up again. Not used them for ages. Also it's by the same author who wrote Metroland which I still have on order. The book I've downloaded is called ''Changing your Mind. Only a shortish story, about one & a half hours. Wanted to see if his style suited me. You know how fussy I am..lol. I like the word ''Oppie''. I will use that in the shop I frequent. Will you have visitors for Anzac Day? Hope your having a nice evening. I was going to say that on Borrow Box there is in my opinion not that many books to choose from. Certainly Metroland isn't there. Have fun.
