Good Morning, All!  Sorry I haven't been here for a few days...traveled to Tampa to surprise our Daughter for her birthday and celebrate her buying a home here, but I'm back for a bit until She wakes and says *Let's go buy stuff for the new house* : ))

So the big question is............................................
Is the tree up yet?  LOL!  I love your Hubby's wanting to put it up early.  There's always a child-like wonderment at this time of year and as much as it pains me to say it, we put up our tree the 1st of November.  Of course ours is artificial so I never have to worry about the needles falling off.  When our last kid left home, that's when we got the *fake* one.  Now all I have to worry about is if the cats (we have 3 rescues....a mommy cat and her 2 sons) knock stuff off of it or the topple it.  So far, none of the aforementioned has happened!  Yay!  They do however, like to sleep under it.  We have carpet in the  living room, so Rick has put the tree on a 24x24 wooden slab/board, and kitties like hard surfaces, weird surfaces, to lay on.  We call it *sleeping in the wilderness* LOL!  So far this year, they haven't demolished anything.  But I must admit,

With our only Son-in-Law, who we loved dearly, passed away in August.....it was hard to put the tree up.....we had to coax ourselves to do it.  He loved Christmas so very much.....it's been kinda sad and it just didn't feel right but to honor him and remind ourselves of how much he would want us to celebrate, we put it up.  We miss him every day but it's so much worse for our Daughter and Grandsons.
The good thing is, She and the boys are moving to Florida, to be closer, to us.  She bought a house and yesterday we went shopping for some things and started setting up the new house.  It's a bad situation that happened but there's something good that came out of it.  Anyway, let Hubby put the tree up and enjoy the Season, my Darling Friend....Life is way too short!  Big hugs & oodles of love  xoxoxox
