I got wet twice today, coats have just about dried out.Dustmen finally arrived this afternoon.My garden waste one hasn't been used for weeks, too wet to do any work out there. I worked hard to get ready for tomorrows carpet guys, they rang this afternoon to say there was a problem.The fitter had a family emergency and wouldn't be coming.Now Monday afternoon, that suits me much better.I will leave things as they are, and ready.Cleared and tidy the cupboard under the stairs, needed doing.I ran out of time doing things and, by the time I had eaten, I just wanted to sit down.Sleep well.

Heavy rain still, roads flooded in the village.The wind, which is back, even blew my heavy dustbin a few feet.The dustmen were around earlier, haven't been to do ours though.Good job it isn't hair day until tomorrow, my hair is clean as it got very wet when shopping.

Very wet out there this morning.At least the wind seems to have eased.Wish I wasn't going out in it, still, I do have to eat etc.Have a good day.
