Good evening, Marguerite
  We have heat (90F, feels like 97F) and the smoke from the Canadian fires. It smells like plastic burning. It's quite smoky out; like a fog.
I thought the Elephant Ears had died, but they finally came back. I have 1 Basil plant & lots of asparagus. They come up one by one. And we have a couple that are growing like trees with very flimsy, fern like 'leaves' (?). I just let them grow to see what happens. I also have alot of purslane in the garden. I'm going to make a salad with them one day next week when I'm on vacation.

Been to art it was nice and cool there high ceilings . Very hot when I got home the heat hit me when I opened the door . Fell asleep after my tea only woke up at 8.30 but I must have needed it . In bed now I’m still tired so hope everbody sleeps l night godbless Marguerite xx
