  We just got back from picking up groceries & doing a bit of Christmas shopping. We're nearly done. It's cloudy & chilly today, but not too bad.

Been a cold couple of days and very wet solid rain 3/4 deg. Thurs art one more week to go yet when we enjoy our hotpot lunch brought in by the local bakery and a cheesecake one of the ladies makes I might make some cakes too. Yesterday I had the hospital in the morning to check my hearing aids the left one has always been a bit loose and actually  fell out in Asda earlier in the week she said the shank wasn’t long enough and wasn’t fitting in my ear properly so I’m having a new one made ready on the 22nd dec . Hairdressers was in the afternoon and it was quite wet coming home . Glad your on the mend Marguerite you need to get rid of that as it’s a busy time now till Christmas. I hope to start my tree this weekend if it stops raining long enough for me to drag it out of the garage . Take care have a good weekend and keep warm xx

Dear Marguerite, I hope you are feeling much better now. I know this bug seems to hang on but it seems you have been taking the right meds so hopefully all is well.  I have written all my cards finally;  later I will wrap a couple of presents - Sunday we have a mulled wine & mince pie event for charity here, so I will get very little done then.  Bonnie is currently snoozing & snowing away - she does nor like the rain at all.  It is blowing a hooley outside and the rain is coming down in stair rods.  Look after yourself and try not to overdo it.  Thank you for the cuddles sent for Bonnie and we return them to Pippin.  Love, hugs & blessings for you all.  🤗🤗🐾🐾☂️🌈❤️

a quiet evening splash and wishing you a restful good night, Marguerite! glad to hear that you are starting to feel better!  a festive white mouse with an orange fairylight spotted; thanks! also glad to hear you and Pippin had a good walk today. it's a bit warmer here at -4C, and now we have more snow forecasted for this evening. I'm waiting for my eyes to recover from being dilated this afternoon. the doctor told me I can still wait to have cataract surgery, but will probably need it in about 2 years. I did get about half my Christmas card sent out yesterday, and will finish the rest tomorrow. I'm hoping my daughter can come over during the weekend, and bring my tree and decorations up from the basement. (it's a little fake tree, about 3 feet high.) Dresden and I are relaxing while I wait for my dinner to bake. (tuna noodle casserole - perfect for a cold night.)Dresden sends snuggles to you, and to Pippin. I'm sending many ear rubs to Pippin. take care, keep warm, and hugs! xxx ❄️❤️
