I'm glad you and Pippin managed to dodge the rain showers. We did as well. It's been quite stormy and wet here. We're getting the remnants of storm Bert, nowhere near as bad as with you though. It's down to force 6 now.

Morning Marguerite yesterday was a bit of a damp squib with storm Bert . My drive was flooded again but it calmed down and eventually around tea time and the water started to go down . I made a steak casserole which was delicious and plenty left to freeze for more meals . I lit the fire for the first time this winter last night and I must say it was delightful like a warm hug . Hope it’s a better day today I got soaked just going to the garage . Take care wrap up warm xx
