Hi Leonard! I'm so glad about the book and podcast and hope they will give you some help. Playing with the grandkids like that sounds such fun and you are making memories for them and you. It is a tragic thing about the past memories with your mom. Even when someone says they are truly sorry, we still carry the scars and those hurt at times. Don't feel bad about yourself for still carrying them. The important thing is that you forgave her and that she acknowledged her actions. I am so sad for you that this is part of your life.
