I often talk about Rylee's habits and routines - this one baffles me. We live in a two storey house. I have noticed that when I start down the stairs Rylee checks me. I pause at the top of the stairs to reach for the handrail - when I do Rylee reaches up to touch my hand. He gives it two touches then we start down the stairs. He does this every time I head down the stairs. Is he making certain that I am okay? Is he checking that I'm actually heading down? No clue but he does it everytime. I find it reassuring - everything is all good in our home. Happy Monday.
