Hi Yvonne, your brothers birthday sounds like it will be loads of fun! When we get together with friends here, we play dice and card games for money, not a lot of money, but when there’s a load of people it adds up. So much fun, especially if you win 😂
Today was another day of no walking, sidewalks and driveways are still buried in ice, and tomorrow morning as I said another full 24 hours of freezing rain, dreading it. But, next week above 0, but all nights dropping below 0, the winter from hell. We still have banks of the crap, usually there is no snow this time of year. So, when this all melts there will be loads of water everywhere and when that happens loads of mosquitoes and black flies, no winning here.
I’ll send you a pic of my best bud standing beside a snowbank in her driveway. They got snow instead of freezing rain. But the trouble of getting that much snow so late in the Spring is that soon the temps will get warmer, and all that snow will melt quickly, and with the ground being frozen, all that water has no where to go, except your basement 🙈. Thank god we don’t have the snow they do. It was -20 there this morning, -12 here. So as bad as it is here, it’s worse there.
