Good evening Deirdre I hope you have had a good day. Sorry I didn't get in yesterday I had a busy day and was falling asleep doing my returns so I gave up and went to bed.  How did Joan's op go? I hope she isn't in too much pain, I'm not surprised she was nervous yesterday.  Our warm weather of Tuesday and Wednesday has changed back to being cool with a cold wind this morning. Thank you so much for dropping by our garden 😁 Old Man Turkey loves all his visitors as long as you tread gently.
As a rescue, who may have experience trauma with his original family (who abandoned him when they moved house) Old Man Turkey gets a little skittish with unfamiliar sounds and smells. He used to run and hide at the sound of men's voices.
My adult sons helped calm him over time. Whenever they visit, they've been gentle with him and now he's more relaxed and loves to loaf on their laps 🥰
