Hi Deirdre - hope you are coping with the high temps you're having as it does sound hot for you. It's been very hot here as well and very dry which is always a concern. We're getting a lot of smoke haze from the terrible forest fires in the west as well. Very happy to have had mini-splits installed a few years ago as the summers just keep getting hotter. Nice that you are getting out and about with Joan a lot. I'm sure you are a great support for her. I'm missing my cousin who passed in June as it certainly also happened quickly and I never got to see her. There was no funeral either. I do feel that she is at peace though, so that is some comfort.
