Good evening Deirdre thank you for spotting the Wagtail. I hope the Mass for Colleen went well, time goes fast doesn't it. I had Mass said for my mum (22 years) and MIL (25 years) this morning, it was earlier this month but I was away they died a day apart but in different years. It has been a cool and breezy day though it stayed dry and sunny apart from a light shower just as Pippin and I got back from our walk.  I hope you had a better weather day and enjoyed the lunch with Laura. What a weekend!

Lost a long time friend on Friday. Last time him and I spoke, I had video called him on his birthday in March. He was awaiting a transplant but sadly he passed before they found a matching organ.
His funeral is tomorrow but I cannot be there!
That's the hardest thing! 😭

Cyclone Vaianu has moved on overnight thankfully. Bit concerning but where I live only received downed trees, scattered power outages and some flooding that closed some businesses for the day. Something to be truly thankful for 🙏🏽

2026 has been one weather event after another that's for sure!!

Anyway, I hope that this message finds you in good health. If not, may you be on the road to recovery or at least some respite 🌹
