Cuckoo thanks Deirdre . I think they must have grounded some of the planes too my nephews friend is in Ireland trying to get back home to Amsterdam, I guess the runways are icy . Raining here so all our snow is melting thank goodness .Joan needs to stay where she is it’s far too dangerous to risk a fall xx

Hi Deirdre - Our temps went down to -27 and I was really feeling the cold this year, but we are going into a milder patch now with more snow on the way. How nice you enjoyed such a lovely meal and also met the chef! Sounds like lots of fun :) Have taken down most of decorations which always feels a bit sad, but I am looking forward to the new year. Going to physio today as has been having various issues. Have waited almost 2 months for the appointment, so am anxious to get things sorted so I can get back to work. Things are moving along with the restoration. I think we will be able to go look for flooring soon. Hope you enjoy the snow and your week ahead xo
