🍀☘️☀️Sunny and windy today high of 55/12. The wind can be so dangerous here. At least one field fire, and a zero visibility dust storm that caused a 55 vehicle pileup with casualties. I was putting gas in my car and could bare stand up t the wind! When I removed the nozzle from the car the wind sprayed me with gas getting my shirt and pants wet, it burned my skin. I had to go home and shower! Crazy. Not much on schedule today after I pick up the fruit/veg basket subscription so maybe some sewing on the lap quilt will happen.
Hi Mihaela - Pi /Pie day is a play on words, March 14 is 3.14 which is the mathematical ration of a circle's circumference (outer measurement) to it's diameter . Since it sounds like the word pie Pi day became Pie day. I bought a blueberry pie because I did not have time to bake anything. My mother made the best pie crust but she used lard and lard is difficult to find in the stores anymore. I usually "cheat: and buy my pie crusts. ha!
