So sorry for my long absence. My pregnant daughter hasn’t been well and ended up in intensive care. At one point I thought I was going to lose both my daughter and granddaughter on the Friday morning but she stabilised. My daughter had an emergency caesarean section at 29 weeks as her condition deteriorated. I went to bed thinking I can get some sleep they’re both stable, one hour later I back at the hospital waiting on the news on how things were going. My beautiful granddaughter was brought out of theatre with what seemed like a guard of honour. It was lovely seeing my old colleagues but I wish it wasn’t under such circumstances. Mum has been discharged but baby will be in special care until possibly the 31st January 2026, her due date. Baby is gaining weight and is doing well.
