Just saw your note about the cell service.

The service in this area is terrible, really, really bad. We have dropped calls, not being able to hear, etc. all the time. We go outside to talk and it's still terrible.
We use FaceTime or Messenger audio only and that works much better. Try that next time and see how it works for you. Let me know.

Mom had her house phone up until a couple of months ago but 95% of her calls on it were scam calls and it got out of hand so we had it removed.
