I hope you are good Ruby, and just taking a break. Weather is finally nice. I decided to plant some vegetables towards the end of May. It was 80 degrees that day. The following day it was 60, and 40 at night! The weathermen can not even predict the weather. My taxes were due 6/1. For the first time in over 40 years I forgot to pay them! Yet another senior lapse. Our taxes are very high here, some of the highest in the country. Some people with just average house pay over $20,000 a year, local school taxes. Well I sent my husband to pay, and they wouldn't even take the check. We had to pay the bill to the county with a penalty over 10% extra. For 2 days late!!! Just every day it's another hit to the wallet. Yikes.
