Hi Helen..ty for the GS.  Delighted you have new shelving finished.  I bet they look great.  My knee is a lot better thanks although I still have twinges.  Dull day here and heading out now to do my food shop.  Going with my daughter so we are bound to have a coffee and cake lol.  Have a fab weekend xxx

Hello Helen, surfacing from a week of house repairs.  We had the plumber on Tuesday to move the water stop tap, much better now and we can reach it easily.  Wednesday and Thursday we had the asphalt floor repaired in a corner of the dining room.  They had to cut through and dig out the old cement and asphalt (not as messy as I thought - phew), then the new asphalt was laid the day after.  It’s like molten lava, 120ºc when it’s poured and then it cools off and cures.  Fascinating to watch and certainly warmed the house up for a while.  Unfortunately they pointed out the skirting boards were rotten, so now we need a joiner for those.  My plans of finally ordering the shed didn’t happen, so I’ll try next week.  I remember the X Files, used to watch it too.  How did you go on with your little pond last week - there’s a frog in ours (large plastic planter), it went off for a wander round the garden when I started pulling the weeds out - little else grows that I plant in it, but the birds have a splash in it sometimes.  Have a good weekend and enjoy arranging your kitchen shelves and well done on getting through the crane topiary - not an easy one :)
