Hello Helen, hope you survived your early start yesterday and the rain cleared for the walk. Seriously bad weather here on Friday; coming home with the shopping I couldn’t open the car door for the wind. Jeff came out to open the boot, and that went up on a big gust - wild. Today it’s calm and sunny and I’m waiting for the lambs to make their way to our side of the field. I need a photo to send to an elderly friend I write to, she’s not very well now, but likes receiving my letters. Of course the sheep and lambs are nowhere to be seen so far today. We didn’t make it anywhere else after Saltaire, but we’re booked to see ‘The Mystery of Banksy’ in Manchester on Thursday, and hopefully the Castlefield Viaduct garden too (NT). Sounds like Jack and Freya will be busy sorting out their new house. My niece and partner are just about to move into their first house, also needing work. I’m trying to pass on an old Billy bookcase to them, so I can have something new in its place. I'm not sure they’ll want it, so it will probably go to the hospice shop. Hope you get to the end of the topiary in time to do some Easter pots, they don’t really take too long if you do a few together. I like the ones dropped by the chocolate bunnies best. have a good weekend x
