Hubby and I had Labs for thirty years before we got Cattle Dogs. We never worried about crumbs on the floor with the Labs - they always cleaned it up. Over time I have noticed that Cattle Dogs do not "hoover."  I accidently dropped a handful of treats on the floor last night I picked up what I saw. Rylee came in the room with me later - I saw one on the floor in the corner - he did not. I went over and picked it up pocketed it and moved on. So if you're looking for a four-legged vacuum get a Lab if you want to be ousted from bed at the crack of dawn get a Cattle dog. Happy Thursday.

Afternoon splash-- It is a nice sunny day  but chilly out there at -13 right now.I think the wind must have died down or changed direction becaause it is actually nice in here(no more heat seems to be coming off the rads through) Cat and I seem to be doing okay. Tea was different yesterday as There was some mean doing some sort of book work when we were there for tea--gave them a pot of tea and I am sure they thought we were crazy old nattering women but it was a different day.. Have a good day.
