I hear the prisoners in NZ have a damn good life behind bars. Some stupid twits have advocated on their Human Rights and they live better than a lot of the elderly here.
I can imagine if we had a super heatwave here that things may start to fail. Most places have aircond but I doubt out electricity grid could keep up with the demand.
and yeh, most hospitals do not have windows that can open. I wonder what that is all about? I was in an old part of the hospital a while back and it was summer and I was by a window overlooking the park...and the window opened. Not too far but far enough to let a lovely warm breeze come in......luxury while unwell...
