Hello Jennifer, now that my Grandson Jesse is old enough to enjoy Christmas and will be here with me I am getting back into the Christmas spirit. His mother. Amira, is Chinese / Lebanese and never celebrated Christmas, however Amira and my son Shannon have always been with me on Christmas day since Brian's passing. Last year Shannon wanted the whole Christmas deal for his son, Jesse, so we had the tree and left out food for Santa and did the whole thing and we will do it again this year. When my children were young I always had a real Christmas tree. I loved the smell of it. I am now getting into the Christmas mood again. Hugs.

Morning Jennifer, rain eventually stopped yesterday but then started again in the evening. A vegetable stew sounds lovely , I made mince pies and jam tarts, the pastry was a bit thick so didn’t make as many as I thought, hubby enjoyed the min e pies though.

Good morning Jennifer, I hope you are well and got your housework and shopping all done? it was a wet day yesterday so I got housework done.
Today I am going shopping with my Great Niece who is 13. Not very often we get a day like this.
