Morning Jennifer. Glad Dr Watson is settling in ok. Didn’t do much yesterday as didn’t have much energy. Started a new jigsaw puzzle and finished reading a book that eldest granddaughter lent me. It got really good so I knew I had to finish it.

Hello Jennifer, I am sure that you are happy that Dr. Watson likes his new home. Well done for rescuing him. Re. NYE, I guess that we will watch the fireworks on TV. It will just be the 4 of us. Fairly sure that there will be illegal fireworks at the beach as well. The next day Shannon and his family leave for Sydney and Sarah and her family arrive to fill the gap. Enjoy your day.

We drove out into the countryside to a huge quilt shop. I was well restrained since I will have to fit everything into my luggage. I found some Texas themed fabric and a pattern that showcases them. Karla’s Mom enjoyed the trip with some pretty fabrics and kits.
My nephew starts a new job in his field on Monday. Yay! My niece is learning quilting, knitting, crochet, needle punching and more from her Granny. She and her husband made ornaments for all the Christmas packages.
