Thanks for the mother & baby crab!
Jilly had more excitement again today. She got her head in the handle of the paper recycling bag. There was a mad race through the house with moments of destruction and finally wedge next to the chair in the front room. She was a bit subdued after that, but is back to her bossy self.
My mending pile is gone! Eleven items that needed a seam here, a patch there, and a pair of jeans from my coworkers son. He somehow ripped the seat right next to the pocket. It is repaired but won’t win any prizes for perfection. At least now his unders won’t show through.
Back to work for a couple of days and then off again. I am enjoying this work slow down!

Monday damp evening sprinkles from Nessie's home...
After five more bags of toys, puzzles, clothing to the charity shop, I was treated to lunch before a large supermarket shop...I really am tired and will try hard to go to bed early and not watch toooo much sport this evening 😉😉
I have kept a whole large shelf of special toys, books and puzzles from many moons ago...each tells a story of bygone days...I can hear the laughter in my mind from my babes when little...
