Unfortunately we don’t have work stations. I push patient gurneys to the operating room for their surgery. Manage the room and play go fetch it for missing items. My primary task is to be the patients voice and advocate when they are asleep or sedated. I also can assist the surgeon if we have someone else managing the room for me. Then I get to push the patient gurney to recovery and go back to ready the room for the next surgery.
It’s just taking its toll on me at 66.
