sprinkles and yes been seeing the videos and photos online so sad and so impossible for people to get insurance.  That was a good lot of cucumbers, I am growing lettuce that I can just pick the leaves.  Have mine in a grow box but being plastic the lid has disintergrated from the heat.  I have 9 growbags of potatoes looking like day of the triffids, Phil wanted them planted and could not argue with him about it.  Think I will be supplying the whole village, they are starting to flower now.  Will have to call his mates to come and help harvest them.  Have a good week and hope the water starts going down but getting to the stage has knowwhere to go.  There was something about dredging, as what has happened to all the wildlife now.  xxx

Hi Jennie - Wow you had snow already! We haven't really had any here yet, just a few flurries. Would have been fun to see the children learning to make snow angels! I remember how we loved our first snowfalls as children. Thank you for pointing out the good things that reading can do for my dad like focusing eyes and fine motor skills. Extra things I hadn't really thought about. We're having a very rainy weekend here, may go visit my dad tomorrow just before his dinner time. Sometimes when we do that, we go out to the pub for dinner ourselves afterwards which is a nice break! Hope you're enjoying your weekend xox
