It's a really hof day here and so windy and humid, it's feeling like 111F today. This afternoon it got dark then thundered and there were about 10 drops of rain. It's hotter right now than it has been all day.
I had to buy a new combo CO2/ smoke detector and the one I bought never has to have the battery changed and is guaranteed for 10 years but it was $100. By law we have to have a smoke detector and CO2 alarm on every floor.
Jake had a more interesting shop, he bought 2 liters of Pecan butter tart ice cream.
I cut back the rest of the poppies and Jake took all the yard waste to the dropoff but it was just too hot to do anything outside.
