Hi Cath, long day today with the orientation session downtown for 9 hours, and I have to report for my first shift at 2 am, glad that it's only a mile away.
Getting ready to try to get some rest, last night I was too wound up to sleep much and had to get up at 5 am in order to be downtown by 7:30. I left super early, just after 6 am and it took everybit of time to get there, first I had problems finding the building. Then I had to find parking, then I had to wait in line to check in, then a long walk to the classroom, only to find out that they didn't have my I9 form (proof of eligibiity to work in the US) even though I gave it to my new supervisor last week, so I had to wait in another line to fill it out all over again. By the time I got a seat in the classroom it was 7:28 am (7:30 start) and so no time to grab a snack or a drink until break 2.5 hours later. Onward I go! Sending hugs and love!
