out to Greenwood and back , hot day

Hi Cath, how are you? I hope your grandson's swimming lessons are going well, I really wish I had learned when I was a child.  I'm trying really hard, but yesterday it just wasn't working.  I have lesson once a week, and on some of the other days, I go to the health club and hope that the pool is quiet, and today it was, so I practiced really hard. They teach us to flip over on our backs for safety, and I had been doing it pretty well and in the last couple of weeks it's all fallen apart - I do flip over, but I go under when I do it, I think I have swallowed half the pool!  When I'm practicing on my own, I'm trying very hard to slow myself down, be in the moment and not to panic.   Next week is the last week of summer session but I signed up for fall which is 14 weeks (summer is 10 weeks) so I must be a glutton for torturing myself.  :)  I am supposed to go on a Caribbean cruise in Feb and my goal is to be good enough by then that I can do a snorkeling excursion.    It may take every bit of that time.  Darn, the fear is so difficult to overcome.
