Hello Cath, thank you so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me.  I feel like such a big old fool trying to learn swimming, so I appreciate what you said.  And I am so sorry about your brother. Had I known, I would not have brought up swimming.   Is there a reason for your bank holiday?  We don't call them that here but they are around holidays, such as our Memorial Day in May, Labor Day in September, Independence Day in July.   So I was wondering if UK bank holidays are related to something in particular or are they selected as special days off each year?   I hope that makes sense.   I hope you're enjoying yourself and sending much love
