Morning sprinkles...record low temps overnight. It got to -11 and feels like temp -30. So still bitter cold. The sun is shining that helps. We ended up with about 10 inches of snow, or that is what Ed said, the reports were saying 8 but Ed thinks it was more. It stopped snowing about 4 pm yesterday. The roads drifted overnight. I called Kathy this morning and she said what Ed did yesterday was not completely drifted shut, but down at the end of the lane, it was drifted. But that is to be expected in the open country. She is hunkered down, she said she has everything she needs. There are many businesses and some of the city offices are closed. So not really a lot happening in our small little town. I know you are happy to have your laundry all caught up. I know are going to trek out to the pig today. Please take your stick and your phone, and be safe. Ed will leave at some point today to head back to St. Louis. I will on pins and needles until I hear from him. I hope you have a good day. Sending love, hugs and kisses!
