I have to get up shortly (it's not quite 5am Friday) to begin cooking for our Matariki lunch time meal with our neighbours. These lovely ladies are from Singapore, and they moved in about 2 months ago. We kept planning a get together and one thing or another would happen...but, today IS the day 🥰

I can't wait to help warm their home and to celebrate Matariki to bring in the Māori New Year 🎉

Sharing a meal is always a great way to form relationships...x

Good morning Susan 🌻 So happy to hear you've been able to enjoy your slice of paradise in your beach again! That must be so calming and refreshing! Overcast here now - not sure what the forecast is.  Today is Bouv's birthday.  He got some special treats for lunch today.  Would like to take him with me to do the mom thing today but it's so freaking hot.  I'll make it up to him tonight.  Love that boy so much - you know how it is!  We're sending our best hugs n rubs.  🐾🦆🌊💙
