disheartened...

wasting money and wasting time,
trying to enjoy challenges that you can't plan to achieve a desired outcome.

sick of the unfairness of random planting that can't be based upon any garden planning.

planting based upon pure luck is unfair to the players and then the element of luck alone is also inserted into other challenges such as the pottery lottery.

changes to the fundamental structures of the game, changes the actual game that it is.

The ability to plan our garden planting based upon the outcomes was the entire baseline for this game.
A task which provides no confirmation of actually being able to complete the task, at all, even if you follow all of the instructions and no matter how many times that you spot the wildlife and collect the same seeds, you still may never be able to complete it.
It's not a fair challenge to players, it's not a challenge at all, when its based upon luck.

A disheartening game now as relying upon the ‘luck’ element is not strategic or planning game play. In a game in which we always depended upon planning. In every other challenge, there was always a way to actually achieve a determined outcome.
At the very least, the outcome of completion.
