My range hood isn't very big. Didn't know you could them in the dishwasher. Their still oily, they need doing again.  I soaked them in bicarbonate of soda and dishwasher g liquid,  and scrubbed, but still need doing.  Inside around the hood was also dirty. 
My place wasn't left spotless,  but I didn't think to look under the Rangehood

Gi Marianne,  that sounds like a huge headache.  Why wouldn't you get all bond back? The oven is cleaner than before you moved in. A,3.5 year old house IS new.
