I've got most of Christmas sorted, I have a small gift for auntie but will save that until I see her Christmas Day. I may even start a new puzzle if I don't get side tracked tomorrow.

You seem to be getting our rain, the forecast here is dry with easterly winds and temps in the low 40's but feeling like 30. However it's supposed to last until Christmas which is fine by me. Coming home this evening would have been a nightmare in the rain, I was very pleased to get home. Driving at night is bad enough but driving at night in the rain is dreadful.

Hi Janet, I've just spent a lovely evening with Tess, Sam and their families. We had a great time playing games and the reindeer dog toy was finally won by Sam. I'll send a pic on messenger, hopefully you'll get it. I also took the Donkey puzzle for Henry which went down well.

Alan didn't make an appearance nor did he answer my phone message. I'm wondering if he's gone on holiday for Christmas or maybe he doesn't want to show his face here in case Paul asks him to start on the steps or patio. I'll leave it until the new year then try him again. I'd ask Mark, the shed roof guy, but he doesn't do gardens and gardeners are notoriously difficult to find.
