We've had far more fireworks this evening than on the 5th that might be why it was a quiet Guy Fawkes night, they were saving themselves for tonight. I'm glad I don't have a nervous dog I doubt Randy would like all the bangs. I will say that Ted, Kath's dog, who's staying next door with Daryn has not made any noise at all, he only seems to bark when the postman touches the door. I like him.

D and Kath are both there this evening, it will be interesting to see if they disappear tomorrow for the week. I'm a dreadful nosy neighbour but I don't think it counts as you don't know them. LOLOL

Hi Janet, it's been a lovely day with Maggie here, I think we talked so much we didn't have time to get a lot of the puzzle done but no matter we had a good time and I can do it in my own time.

Sheila's son is home but sleeping a lot, he finally got home about half past 8 last night, they sent him along in hospital transport with 2 ladies who got him indoors. I spoken to her on the phone and she says he can move about the house with the Zimmer frame, not that he wants to do much. She sent out for a take away meal this evening which I'm pleased about so she doesn't need to cook.

I'll still go to the hall to see Ness but will skip lunch with Sheila which means I may be home earlier to do some puzzling.
