I did go out for a short while to get some lettuce and mayonnaise but didn't stay out long as it kept trying to rain. By this evening it was pouring and I'm hoping it will be all over by tomorrow as I'm going to collect Sue, the nun, and take her to a few charity shops. Since her friend died she won't be coming over to Lowestoft so often however she will come now and again so she can see her brother. She phoned earlier and said they were talking about wintery showers and I said if it's white I won't be going. The temperatures are down to 39 and it feels like 28 in the wind. All I can do is see what the morning brings.

You reminded me that I'd best check to see when my next dentist visit is, fortunately they don't want me until June that's about 6 months since I was last there. I used to go once a year with my old dentist but I don't like to argue about it when they give me my next appointment or they may not see me at all!

Hi Janet, yes I did mean Avon lady, her name's Liz and she's been coming round for years.  I don't buy much but it can be handy especially during covid when I didn't want to go shopping. Like you I've done the Tupperware [OMG I've still got lots], pampered Chef, makeup and clothes parties. I often didn't want to go and always ended up buying something I didn't really want. lol

I was out in the garden cutting the grass and washing the bird baths when Daryn spoke over the fence. I asked how things were going and he said he's pleased with how they're progressing and has got one half of the garden level and is now talking about getting someone in to help with laying some slabs. He was very stiff and said he was going in to have a hot shower to help with his arthritis which he has in his back, legs and arms. I reckon he should get someone to help do the rest. He said he would be breaking up the last bit of concrete in the morning, well that's not going to help his aches and pains. I've found that by taking it easier for the last couple of days the hip is more comfortable.
