I cant imagine being 8 nor would I want to be, 28 maybe that's a good age.

Sorry Randy's not been good, I hope the vet can help. I'm glad she's there at last.

I'm watching another episode of The Americas, last week it was the desert in your area and this week it's in South America and the Amazon river. After this there's a Celebrity Bake Off. I love watching it as some of them don't have a clue and then The Antiques Roadshow. Not a bad evening's viewing.

It's still only 50 but may get a bit warmer tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. It's looking like it will be cloudy with a chance of rain. I'll do my grocery shopping in the morning and will break up the puzzle, which is still there, and may start a new one.

Hi Janet, Henry had what seemed endless Lego sets, a remote control lorry, I took a rocket which went down well and some Shrinkies [don't ask I just bought them!], he also had a paddle to use with the kayak and  driving game which is played on the TV, he drives like a maniac, unfortunately no hot tub or swimming pool.LOL  He went to the 'spy' games room with his friends yesterday and the children had a party somewhere in Norwich with the Spy' cake. [I'll send a pic] This afternoon he's going somewhere else with the family, I can't keep up with it all. I did take a series of pics when he cut the cake, I'll send them too. I should have filmed it but he might have noticed, better to be sneaky and just take photos. The cake was very nice Victoria sponge with jam and fresh cream, there were about a dozen family there, but Tessa didn't come as she's coming down with a cold. It's probably stress, her husband was stranded in Brazil due to the fire at Heathrow, I will add he is home now but Tess is a worrier.
