I explained to Tess that you'd not seen her message and seemed only to be able to chat with someone when they were on line. I had a lovely afternoon with her and we sorted a certain person's birthday gift which should be there by the 20th. Then she said had I ever been on Google Earth to see where you lived. No I don't do Google Earth, so on her phone she put in your address and there was your house with the jeep parked out the front. Wow, we went down the road to Yucca Way/Road/Drive? but couldn't make out what the dark area was beside the road. I said it wouldn't be trees and wondered if it was water. Just think we almost visited you this afternoon!
Auntie gave up driving after she went in to hospital after the wedding. Her boys had wanted her to stop driving before and as her knee was too bad for her to drive they told her that it was time to get rid of the car. I know she mises it but she has such good friends that take her out and about, plus she has friends and neighbours who go round and have tea or coffee with her. It's not the same as driving yourself but I think at 91 they were right. She's not hard up so could afford taxi's if she needed to get anywhere in a hurry.
