I nearly forgot to water, thanks for the Water dragon  xxx

They are now forecasting the white stuff tomorrow but hopefully not here. I'm like Suzi I'd rather not drive on it as they only grit the main road and bus routes, the rest of us have to just get on with it! Tonight we're going to be colder than Scotland which is rare so I'm glad I'll be home. I'm also pleased tomorrow night I'll only have a 15 minute drive to get home.

In a moment of madness this afternoon I cut the grass. I realized it was getting so long and as I walk over it everyday to feed the birds it was looking a mess. Maybe if Alan comes Monday he'll trim the edges, well that is if he comes and if he doesn't think I'm crazy cutting it this time of the year!

I'll stay up to see the New Year fireworks on the TV from London and will go to bed soon afterwards. We've had fireworks here going off since it got dark, I expect they'll be several more at midnight.

Hi Janet, it was cold this morning and with the wind felt like 23, ouch! All I can say is I was pleased to get home. I was only out about an hour just getting a few bits and pieces. I found some chocolate that had been reduced as it was in Christmas packaging, I got enough for all 4 of the children, not that they need it but I loved chocolate when I was a kid, I still do, so I'm sure they do too. It made me think why I didn't often have chocolate as a child then remembered there was still rationing when I was young so maybe that had something to do with it.

I got the battery for the clock so now I have no excuse for going to bed late!!  I've made my red man and am making strides in to the puzzle. I won't have time tomorrow as I'm out for New Year's Day and won't be home until late so don't be surprised if I'm not around.
