Hi Janet, there are humane traps here for things like mice and squirrels. My cousin David had one to catch some of the squirrels that keeps visiting his garden and he would trap them and take them to the nearby woods,. The problem was one day he caught a rat...I didn't ask what he did with it.

Talking of rats, my friend Sheila tells me there's been a rat in her garden, now I'm wondering if it's a rat taking my tomatoes, OMG I hope not, that will give me nightmares.

It's been in the mid 60's again with a lot of cloud, some places are in the mid 70's but I don't think we'll be seeing that here again. I did go to the shop for more bird food, I swear they eat better than me. Anyway I stopped by the charity shop and there was a HOP puzzle waiting for me, well I knew it was as it kept saying buy me, buy me. It's now on the heap.
